Last week I finished my latest edited dub mix. When listening to ‘Empire State of Mind’ of Jay-Z f./ Alicia Keys on the radio for the first time I thought it would be great to make a cut up dub from this song.  I almost immediately heard Alicia’s cut up vox in my mind. I just love edits at downtempo (I guess you can call 90BPM downtempo, can ya?). The result is so much cleaner that cuts at 135BP).
